Lakewood Organic Super Veggie Juice Review

Lakewood Organic Super Veggie Juice
This juice costs about $5 a bottle ($30 for a six 32 oz. bottles on Amazon).  This is one of the better veggie juices I have bought.  The consistency is very very thick (much thicker than V8) so that makes it a quick soup if you heat it up.  When I drink the product as a juice, I actually mix it with a little water so it is smoother to drink.  The flavor is strong enough that even with water added, it doesn't taste diluted to me.  Although the juice looks red and tomato-y, it has a pretty apparent dark green vegetable-y flavor (think broccoli, kale, collard greens) compared to V8 juice which in comparrison has a very dominant tomato/carrot flavor.  So, when Lakewood Organic calls it a "Veggie Juice" they really mean it!  Because of this dark veggie flavor, this juice is not a good stand-in for tomato juice for making Bloody Mary's.  So if you prefer bright flavored veggie juices that have that nice acidic tomato kick, bright parsley feel,  and are a little salty, you might not enjoy this drink.
